The Larkin at Exchange Building is a prominent Class-A Office Building in Buffalo, NY, offering many in-house amenities such as a café, coffee shop, print shop, daycare services, and a fitness center. The Hubbard Fitness Center was recently relocated to the 5th floor to adapt to its growing members, equipment needs and desire to incorporate larger male/female locker and shower rooms. The layout was challenging due to the limited amount of square feet available, fitting between two existing tenants. Acoustics were crucial as not to disturb the surrounding tenants with the sounds from the equipment, shower rooms, and music generated by various fitness classes. One of the ways that this was achieved was through the use of Johnsonite Acczent Wood Acoustiflor in the main workout/weights area.
