Heritage Contract Floorings completed a recent job at APP Pharmaceuticals, LLC in only seven days. This labor intensive job required Heritage CF to remove existing VCT, shortblast/mechanically prepare the existing concrete, and install 18,500 square feet of Dur-A-Flex Hybriflex AC Decorative Chip Flooring.
Mark Forell, Sr. Manager Engineering and Maintenance at APP Pharmaceuticals, LLC, said this about the project, “I have been associated with Heritage Contract Flooring for almost 20 years. For the most part, the work being performed has needed to be completed in a very short time frame, usually during our shutdown period. This past December was no exception. APP contracted with Heritage to replace the vinyl flooring in over 18,000 square feet of corridors and manufacturing areas. The new flooring is a Dur-A Flex poly-aspartic decorative chip product. The schedule called for the job to be completed in one week including removal of the existing flooring, considerable floor repairs and installation of the new product. The job was completed on time and the finished product quality is excellent. Jeff Friedman, Vice President, and Bill Russell, CEO, were on the job every day making sure everything was going smoothly and that APP's expectations were being met. This even included having work done on Christmas day! Our plan is to continue to install this product in additional areas throughout the plant and I would definitely continue to rely on Heritage to get the job done.”
